The UK gives the opportunity to climb rock routes in a wide range of areas and setting, from the mountains to the coast. In winter, the Scottish Highlands provide a challenging and rewarding environment for ice and mixed climbing. Venturing a little further afield, Norway offers plentiful ice climbing areas in stunning locations.

In the Alps it could be summiting your first 4000m peak, stretching yourself on a more technical Alpine peak, enjoying some alpine rock climbing or journeying 'hut to hut' on skis
