Scotland has its share of cascade ice though it usually takes very good conditions to form but when 'in' shouldn't be missed! However, heading abroad gives reliable conditions year on year and gives access to many inspiring icefalls.

Hemsedal and Senja in Norway, Cogne in Italy and La Grave in France are a few of the European venues that offer everything from single pitch to all day multi pitch ice climbing.

Canada is the country of big, striking ice lines such as those found in 'The Ghost' or the Icefields Parkway that will leave you inspired and tired!
